British Cochlear Implant Group MRI working group

BAMRR were recently invited to join the British Cochlear Implant Group MRI working group. The aim of the group is to carry out a revision of the existing BCIG website content on safety and MRI to ensure it is up-to-date and has the appropriate information and support available for both patients and healthcare professionals involved. The last revision was carried out approximately three years ago. The working group has 23 members whom all work within the field of ENT, medical physics, magnetic resonance and cochlear implants.  The three leading Cochlear Implant manufacturers are also represented on the group.
